Something a little different – calgary family photography

I’ve been really excited about a new project I’m undertaking with Fresh Sugar. I want to make the Fresh Sugar experience even more unique, more personal. For the next little while, I’m doing a trial run with select families – and their sessions will have a slideshow that features both photographs and VIDEO!

So I picked up a nifty new SLR camera that lets me take HD video, and get some great depth of field. The video reminds me of old home movies, just like film. I love, love, love the look – and I hope all my clients do too. My good friend Danna, who graces my blog regularly (see a few posts down, in fact) was kind enough to let me use her family as my guinea pigs to work out my kinks in using the new cam.

I just shot when I had some spare moments on our recent vacation to Saturna island in BC, created a little slideshow of this loving, happy, crazy family. Enjoy!
